Another three-year-old maiden where the market should prove invaluable, but we like the look of Evolution Ex, with National Trust and Tayman put forward as the likely dangers. John Gosden's son of Bahri made his debut at Wolverhampton in December. He was very green and under the circumstances did well to finish third to Missatacama. There should be plenty of improvement to come and he looks the best alternative. Michael Stoute's National Trust just had one outing last season, finishing well behind the Godolphin trained Centaurus at Newmarket. He is superbly bred and will be seen to much better effect of this trip. Tayman has the benefit of a recent outing at Warwick, where he was a close up fourth behind Golden Fury. He, like most of these is open to improvement and should take a hand in the finish. Groomsman may prove best of the others, but with the Gosden yard in such fine form Evolution Ex has to be the pick.
