Coburn is an interesting newcomer with Frankie Dettori booked, but we will side with Cocodile Bay, with Lava flow and Dingaan two others to keep on an eye on in the market. There isn't a lot of form to go on here but Crocodile Bay showed enough on his debut to suggest he can land a a race of this nature. He looked a picture on his debut behind Picostar but ran too green to do himself justice and is expected to show vast improvement here. Coburn is trained by Bryan Meehan and looks the part on paper being by Pivotal out of a daughter of Kaldoun. Meanwhile Lava Flow is from a yard amongst the winners. This son of Danehill Dancer cost 70 thousand guineas as a yearling and is reported well forward. Dingaan is bred for speed and from a yard capable of getting one ready first time out. With so many unknown quantities in the field caution, and a good look at the betting market is advised, but a better run is expected from Crocodile Bay who gets a narrow vote.
Allsussedup 25-1 Dwelt and behind, headway 2f out, kept on for 3rd final furlong, no chance with leaders, 3rd of 8, 7l behind Azygous at Lingfield 5f 2yo mdn aut pol.
