In depth

Verdict

Full Spate is now down to a winning mark and is taken to land this modest event from Saviours Spirit and Nisr. Milton Bradley's ten-year-old doesn't win too often these days but put in a solid display last time when just five lengths behind Najeebon at Folkestone. He didn't really get the run of the race and from a decent draw tonight he should make a bold bid. Saviors Spirit has been running well on the all-weather this winter and transferred that form to the turf last time when just three lengths behind The Lord at Kempton, a repeat of that effort should see him reach the places. Nisr was disappointing last time when very well treated, but has claims here on his second to Fonthill Road at Newmarket last July. Tony Carroll's Divinsky looks best of the others, but Full Spate looks on his way back and he gets our vote.
