In depth

Verdict

Glory of Paris was just caught on similar going at Bath last month but has been raised 2lb and steps up a grade. Major Pusey finished a place behind but is better off at the weights and one of four previous course and distance winners. Poet's Princess slipped down the weights last year but was more than three lengths behind veteran Clear Spring on heavy ground at Salisbury in October. Titan Goddess appeared to run well at Lingfield on All-Weather Championship day but she’s better over further and conditions are a worry. MOBSTA (NAP) goes well for De Sousa, as he showed on his comeback at Doncaster. He was running in pattern race company around this time last year so looks the one to be on. Blaine made a winning reappearance last year off a 5lb higher mark but his form went to pieces after that.
