There is a certain amount of guesswork involved here as none of these have seen a racecourse before. Mick Channon has already had three two-year-old winners this season and runs Solesmes, who is the daughter of a heavy-ground winner and one of only two fillies in the contest. BLOWN BY WIND had several entries this week so it’s interesting that the son of Invincible Spirit comes here. His dam made a winning start as a juvenile and later took the Sweet Solera so he might be a useful early-season type. Artair also has a nice pedigree and Awake In Asia and Greeley are worth monitoring for any market support.
