Verdict

Taquka almost scraped home at Lingfield under positive tactics and while Ralph Beckett's charge is sure to give another good account, he may find SPEED THE PLOUGH too hot in this maiden. Richard Hannon's colt was turned over by a stable companion on his previous visit to Windsor but with a better draw to work from, he can break his duck at the fourth time of asking. Stellarta hasn't been too far away on her three outings so far and she plugged on resolutely at Salisbury on what was her first race on turf. Gulland Rock was far from a cheap purchase at the sales and as a half-brother to a Listed winner, Willie Muir's charge is watched closely in the market on debut. Skinny Love was very green on debut and should have learnt plenty for that experience.
