In depth

Verdict

Plenty with claims in this opener. Pensax Lad and Cheeky Peta's are looking to rediscover the form of their promising debut efforts while Autopliot will go close if improving on his debut fourth at Windsor. Black Vale and Chorlton Manor are related to winners and were more expensive purchases than fellow newcomers Gravy Dipper and Miss Acclaimed, but all are still worth noting for any support in the betting. SALFORD SECRET failed to land the odds at Leicester last time having gone close at Goodwood before that. He gets a speculative vote to make amends in this and open his account.
