Host made a pleasing debut at Kempton early last month, keeping on without being subjected to a hard race. He’ll be more the finished article here and is preferred to London Palladium, penalised for winning at Redcar. Sidi Mansour hasn’t been beaten far in either start and Proclaimed showed some improvement at Chepstow but ZAMAANI’s close second behind Twaasol here last time makes him the one to beat - the winner went on to land the Woodcote at Epsom. Any juvenile trained by Clive Cox is worth a market check here and Churchill Bay, a 40,000gns foal, is no exception.
