    Verdict

    Even though this won’t take much winning, last week’s course and distance winner Star Citizen looks vulnerable under a penalty and on quicker ground. PAVERS PRIDE has rediscovered some his zest since switching to Paul Midgley. He’s found only one too good at Beverly and Hamilton and can go one better today. Shesadabber is on a hat-trick after back-to-back victories at Hamilton and has shown a clear liking for ground with some give but another Hamilton winner, Lady Celia, has only been raised 2lb and still has some scope.
