    Verdict

Another competitive handicap to solve but Orpenindeed is given the vote to land it for the Marco Botti stable. He is a victim of his own consistency on the basis that he has not received much leniency from the assessor despite the fact he has yet to score in the UK. He has been strongly supported on his last number of outings so obviously he has been fancied to get off the mark before now and today could well be the day. Osiris Way raced prominently for most of the journey at Goodwood two weeks ago and as a result of that performance has been edged up another 1lb. While he is likely to be thereabouts, it would come as no surprise if he found a couple too strong. Diriculous was the very easy winner of a Great Leighs handicap last time. He looks much more effective on artificial surfaces rather than turf while the veteran Idle Power is versatile with regard to ground conditions but might find some the younger brigade too strong. Mullein at the foot of the weights is another to consider due to the fact she is open to plenty of improvement. Orpenindeed is the selection to land it.
