In depth

Verdict

The unbeaten Phoenix Tower is given the nod here over the more experienced Eddie Jock, Mofarij looks the best of the others. Henry Cecil's charge has been most impressive in his two runs to date, proving well ahead of the handicapper when easily beating a decent field off a mark of 88. This conditions event is a step up in class but he should be up top the task. Eddie Jock has earned his rating of 104 with some terrific efforts last season. He should come on for his recent return and looks the main danger. Mofarij chased home a decent type in Spanish Moon on his only juvenile start and was a very impressive winner in Dubai. There should be plenty more to come but we are still waiting for the Godolphin runners to hit form over here. Norisan easily looks the pick of the other two runners but we return to Phoenix Tower as the more likely winner.
