ALBAROUCHE is the pick to land this for the Jarvis/Robinson combination that can do little wrong at present; Ballochroy and Celt are put up as the main dangers. Albarouche shaped as a filly who required a step up in trip last time and doesn't look the type that is suited by the uneven paces that are common in all-weather racing. Ballochroy got tapped for toe at a vital stage last time but stayed on once again to take fifth spot in an ultra competitive handicap. He will need a fast pace here while Celt who holds the profile of one that the yard excel with, was very disappointing at Folkestone. It could have been the ground was too testing for him but he has left something to be desired with his attitude on more than one occasion and now has a bit to prove. Higgy's Boy races under a 6lb penalty after a fine win last time. First time blinkers were on there and provided they have the same effect he would be a leading contender. Star Of Gibraltar is a filly still open to a bit of improvement but Albarouche is the nomination.
