PETER ISLAND is well-drawn and John Gallagher's decent sprinter gets the vote here ahead of Captain Carey, Misaro and Lochstar. The selection should be a decent price as he comes here on the back of three below-par runs. However he might be better judged on his easy win at Leicester in April and this well-drawn front-runner should run a big race. Good Gorsoon is consistent enough but the feeling is that he needs everything to drop right; connections might look to a visor in the future as it has a habit of improving the progeny of Stravinsky. Misaro won well at Salisbury and the step up in trip is no problem, although this tougher company might be. Elhamri and Kelamon are dropping down the weights but for good reason, so a bigger threat may be Memphis Man who was a surprise winner here last time and he has a good draw to work from today. Rocker, Lochstar and Captain Carey are all holding their form well, with the last-named having the more appealing profile following wins at Southwell, Bath and Windsor this season, however we prefer the claims of top-weight Peter Island.
