C'MON YOU IRONS is selected here ahead of Halsion Chancer and Kyllachy Storm. The selection showed plenty of guts to fend off Divinsky last time out over this course and distance and a similar performance may be enough to win today. He does have a 5lb rise in the weights to contend with however he is fancied to shrug off both that and his low draw. Don Pele should appreciate the step back up to six furlongs, Golden Dixie was a good winner at Chepstow last time, whilst Halsion Chancer's last run at Folkestone reads well but the feeling is that another furlongs suits best these days. Kyllachy Storm has had a profitable year; the Bath specialist ran well in defeat last time and although he looks high enough in the weights he must be considered. Don Pele's recent form has been consistent but little to should about, whilst the return to six furlongs looks sure to suit the fairly progressive Super Frank. An open start to the card but it is C'Mon You Irons who is preferred.
