Dubai Set probably has the best form of those to have raced however a chance is taken on newcomer CLASSIC COLORI ahead of Carnival Time and Al Ghazal. The selection represents Tom Dascombe who has another decent bunch of two-year-olds on his hands. This 55,000 Euros purchase is related to several juvenile winners and interestingly enough he has an entry in the Gimcrack Stakes at York in August. Fellow debutant Al Ghazal is a son of Motivator; he is bred to be very decent however it is likely that he will need further than this initial six furlong trip. Butch And Sundance is already gelded, and the market will help there, as it probably will with Carnival Time and Catchanova for whom Philip Robinson looks an interesting jockey booking. Peter Winkworth's runners are often underestimated and Come On Safari cannot be ignored, along with Excellent Guest and Dubai Set who both ran fairly well in defeat last time out and their experience should stand them in good stead. Newcomers Luminous Star and Royal Box need market checks, with the latter coming from a good family. The market should help here in what looks likely to be a good maiden, and we will stick with Classic Colori.
