Verdict
MAY ROSE (NAP) is improving noticeably with each run and has been handled cleverly by Charles Hills to land her last two starts. She's looked value for more than the winning margin on each occasion and appeals as a filly with considerably more in the tank. A course and distance winner, she harbours greater scope than essentially exposed rivals and can complete the three-timer with conditions to suit. Pettochside has proved a consistent servant to the Bridger team over the last couple of years and looks strong each-way material after a sequence of commendable handicap runs. Justice Lady will be interesting if the gaps open at the right time with Miracle Garden one to note in the market on this return from an absence.
