      Verdict

      A run of four successive wins in this for Aidan O’Brien was ended by Dermot Weld last year and the latter introduces SIMAFAR, a half-brother to a couple of winners. Ballydoyle run two with Exemplar preferred on his debut second at the Curragh which looks stronger form than stablemate Tang Dynasty’s placed efforts, though the latter does have the beating of De Vegas Kid. Itsalonglongroad has an entry in the Group 2 Beresford Stakes later in the month and is a newcomer to note.
