Trans Siberian went down fighting last time out and, off the same mark today, he is fancied to score ahead of Dawn Sky. The selection looks ready for today's longer trip as he has been battling on well over the mile trip. He has been brave in some tight four-way-finishes and with plenty in his favour regarding the ground, he can get back to winning ways. Speedy Sam doesn't win as often as he might but there seems no denying that he is on a decent mark now, as is Resonate but at the age of ten he is not getting any better. Aegean Prince should improve for his recent pipe-opener at the track, but his win-to-runs-ratio is less than spectacular. Marvo is lightly-raced, and has evidently had some training problems in the past, however if he doesn't suffer from the bounce factor then he should run well. He was well-fancied last time over a trip that on breeding doesn't look ideal, but he stayed it well that day and there is no reason to suspect that he won't run a big race today. Dawn Sky is fairly lightly-raced and held his form fairly well last season, and he looks the type to make up into a fair four-year-old as he still looked to have a bit of filling out to do last season. Sign Of The Cross caught a tartar in Milne Graden last time out, and he needs respect given that his trainer is finding some form. At a price Nightspot could go well, having won at the track in the past, however it is Trans Siberian who can get off the mark for the season.
