      Verdict

LAY CLAIM sets the standard in this maiden after some decent runs off marks in the mid 70s in handicap company and with this unlikely to take much winning he should get off the mark. Doc Hay is a very interesting expensive newcomer in the line-up and Paul Cole has given his runner a winnable assignment on debut. Junket was only just held on debut and should come on for the run and looks a danger while Pippbrook Ministar doesn't look out of it based on her rating. Not the best Windsor maiden and a good opportunity for Lay Claim to get off the mark.
