Michael Bell has landed this prize twice in recent seasons and Trend clearly comes into the reckoning on the back of a promising start to his career on soft ground at Yarmouth although the only two horses from the race to have run since have done little to advertise the form. There's little to choose between Another Laugh, CHORAL and Rojo Boy on official figures but Richard Hannon's runner looks to have less on her hands than when finishing fourth at Newmarket last time and is taken to open her account. It would be no surprise to see Invent leave his Wolverhampton running behind but the ground could be an issue whilst Waterborne, Buxfizz and Divine Rule may be best watched with nurseries in mind unless the market suggests to the contrary.
