In race three on the card, Bounty Quest is selected ahead of Presto Shinko and Galeota. Presto Shinko has competed well at Group level in his time and he showed a bit more sparkle in a first-time visor last time at Newmarket. Anywhere near his best form would give this course and distance winner solid claims here although Bounty Quest, who has come of age this year, finished a length and a quarter ahead of him at Newmarket, although he is a pound worse off at the weights today, which makes things close between them. The highest-rated of these runners, though, is Presto Shinko's stable companion Galeota. A useful two-year-old, he was beaten a whisker in the 2005 Golden Jubilee Stakes, when it was run at York. He looks the one to beat based on that, but he has not raced for 700 days. The market might tell us more. Prince Tamino's Listed-race second at Newmarket last September gives him a shout, although he has yet to race since running at Nad Al Sheba in February. With the others having to improve on official ratings, our selection is Bounty Quest, but the betting market might provide you with further clues.
