Making it onto the short list here are Lylayne, Cute Ass and Piece Of My Heart, with the selection being Lylane. Working from the bottom up, and Whistful Miss is entitled to improve on her Newmarket debut run, while Miss Versatile was not disgraced in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot last week and is well up to winning a race. Little Knickers showed some promise on her Kempton debut and you will probably be able to gauge the merit of her form by the run of Avertitop in the opener, the pair having met last time. Cute Ass was beaten a whisker by Sinead Of Aiglish at Warwick on similar going to today's last time out and she can put up a bold showing today. Much as Piece Of My Heart has yet to fully build on her Warwick winning debut, she was pitched in at Royal Ascot last time and ran well considering the weights over course and distance the time before, while Kylayne was just ahead of her at the Royal meeting (in the Queen Mary Stakes) having scooted to a debut win, where she beat Sinead Of Aiglish (on good to firm). Theoretically, though, the selection and Cute Ass are closely weighted with each other based on that form, which is why we think they can both go well, with the selection being Kylayne.
