In depth

Verdict

Paul Nicholls saddles two here with Bryony Frost on board Fabulous Saga, once a regular winner for Willie Mullins but out of action for a very long time before pulling up at Cheltenham in December. The 7lb claimer Angus Cheleda gets his chance on Shantou Flyer, whom he rode to victory between the flags. His mount is in the hunter's event at Cheltenham and the Grand National so will need a good run here. Golden Sovereign completed a double over hurdles last winter but has been well beaten in both starts over fences. LATE ROMANTIC (NAP) landed a Class 2 handicap at Haydock before a fair effort in a Grade 3 at Warwick, form that would give him an excellent chance in this though he's also engaged in a Grade 2 hurdle at Haydock. Sizing At Midnight has won four races, all on good or faster ground, while Jepeck refused at the last when beaten at Sandown yesterday.
