Verdict

Sir Ivan is the only course and distance winner and returns to hurdles after a couple of fine runs over fences. Buckhorn George has also won here and, though that was over slightly shorter, he has no problems staying the extra. ONEUPMANSHIP and Take Your Time occupied the places in a similar race over the track and trip last month with the former just coming out best. Both are lightly-raced and on the upgrade and can fight out the finish. Adicci landed a 2m1f Fontwell handicap before a moderate run at Exeter and has yet to prove he stays this far but First Lord De Cuet has been placed several times since landing a Southwell maiden just over a year ago.
