In depth

Verdict

This should be a straightforward task for Salford, with Lynphord Lad set to provide the biggest threat. Salford won well over course and distance last time when defeating Step Quick, and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough here. Lynphord Lad beat Dun An Doras at Towcester last time and is in good heart at present. She is not the most reliable but is lightly raced so could be open to further improvement. Noble Justice is interesting as he is a course and distance winner, but he has been pulled-up on each of his last three starts and has been suffering with a breathing problem. If he is now over that problem he could certainly be good enough to take a hand in the finish. There are a couple of interesting runners in this race, but are more than happy to side with Salford.
