Commanche War Paint gets the vote here with the danger provided by Ray Source, Misty Future and Phildari. The selection is a course and distance winner who is in great heart at present. He won well last time when convincingly beating Rift Valley at Worcester and he looks a progressive type who could be well worth following. Misty Future could give him the most to do and he was a convincing winner at Plumpton when defeating Dirk Cove and Gigs Gambit. The latter has gone on to frank the form; but Misty Future is prone to throwing in the odd bad race and is opposed here for that reason. Ray Source was a game winner last time when defeating Mr Nemo, but he is not the most reliable jumper, while Phildari would have chances on his best form but he has failed to complete on each of his last two outings. This is a fascinating contest, but we will put our faith in the improving Commanche War Paint.
