Some well connected but disappointing types here who could do with a victory to enhance their paddock prospects. The Montjeu filly Hasten is a full-sister to top-class winners Jan Vermeer and Together but has shown nothing in two starts over a mile. She should do better over this trip but Faanan Aldaar has been looking very one-paced including in a handicap last time. MONT BLANC was caught in the closing stages by Aegean Sky over this trip at Galway but didn't run so well when dropped back to 1m2f at Sligo on Tuesday. This is her trip and she's awarded the vote though Precious Stone only faded in the final half-furlong over this trip at Bellewstown last month and ridden with a little more restraint should get home. Rigoletta has never raced beyond a mile and her stamina has to be taken on trust.
