Bolodenka has disappointed in recent starts on the flat and may appreciate the return to hurdles but Richard Fahey's gelding was well held off the same mark that he races off today when last seen over hurdles and may be best watched in a race taken to go to FAITH AND REASON, who gets the vote ahead of The Rocking Dock. Gordon Elliott's gelding has won each of his last two starts, over fences at Downpatrick and latterly over hurdles at Limerick, and he has to be respected but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper so may be booked for a place at best. Sea Storm has been hard to win with and of more interest may be Hunting Tower. James Lambe's son of Sadler's Wells has been running well on the level of late and has to be considered back over hurdles for the first time since June. Preference though is for Chris Grant's Faith And Reason, who showed improved form on the flat this season and carried that improvement back to hurdles when a creditable second to Classic Fly at Market Rasen last month. He has every chance if able to build on that effort and can defy a 7lb rise for that earlier win.
