Evelith Echo has run to a consistent level of form and should be thereabouts again but John Quinn's gelding was well held here earlier this month when racing off the same mark that he races off today and he looks best watched in a race taken to go to NELSON'S SPICE, who gets the verdict ahead of Professor Higgins. Howard Johnson's gelding is in fine form having won his last three starts, the latest on his reappearance at Kempton, and he has solid claims but has been doing his winning over shorter and may not appreciate the step up in trip. Enlightenment has been running well for Evan Williams of late but a 2lb rise for his latest effort when chasing home Fit To Drive at Worcester looks harsh and he may be booked for a place at best. Knight Legend could be of interest making his debut for Philip Hobbs and it will be interesting to see how he performs on the ground today having done most of his racing under testing conditions but a better bet looks to be Nelson's Spice. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding won well over further than this at Cheltenham last time but his best form is over this trip and he can defy the 4lb rise for that Cheltenham win.
