Barry Hills reeled off a hat-trick in this race between 2005/7 so Compton Way and Billie Jean merit attention but a chance is taken on ASRAAB. Ghazwah arguably sets the standard but she was a shade disappointing at Kempton so has a little to prove on her first run since whilst Beaumont's Party and Illustrious Prince will both need to step up on the level of form that they showed at Lingfield when just outside the places. Billie Jean finished a long way last on her sole start so couldn't be put forward with confidence whilst Decency also needs to improve on the form that she showed at Lingfield. Compton Way is the first foal of a lightly raced dam and doesn't make as much appeal on paper as Hajjaan or Mawzoon with the latter a half-brother to Red Clubs. Saeed Bin Suroor has enjoyed an excellent year with his juveniles and he saddles a 220,000 euro purchase out of a half-sister to Dandy Man. The market has been a good guide to the stable's newcomers and a chance is taken with Asraab in the hope that the market speaks positively.
