Verdict
Vivona Hill, Desert Stag and The Kealshore Kid are shortlisted in the bumper with the nomination given to Vivona Hill. Alan Swinbank has a 26 per cent strike-rate in bumpers this season and this well-bred gelding is related to numerous winners on the flat and over jumps. Although he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip, he should be up to making a winning debut here. Desert Stag has shown ability in two runs to date and he was a fair third behind Lady Bluesky last time. But on both his runs so far he has found little for pressure and that is a worry again today. Kealshore Kid showed improved form on his second start when he was in front of Desert Stag and if he continues on his upward curve then he would be capable of making the frame. Millbill Moss is a half-brother to flat and hurdles winner Dhehdaah and Merry Madcap, so he is worth a look in the market, but a safer bet looks to be Vivona Hill who should be hard to beat.
