Painted Sky gets the confident vote in this Ladies race; Wood Fern and Upright Ima rate as the main dangers. The selection won in facile fashion last time out when beating Indian Star and although higher in the weights he has one of the better riders aboard and is taken to defy the handicapper. Wood Fern rates the main danger on his latest second behind Monroe Gold but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achieved. Upright Ima is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she is another that looks high enough in the weights. Hapeney hails from a yard in form but he will need to improve for the fitting of first-time blinkers if he is to score. Of the others, Green Day Packer hails from a yard that has a good record with its runners but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we are happy to return to Painted Sky who still looks well ahead of the handicapper.
