Monty's Salvo gets the confident vote here with No Further Comment, and Combat Drinker rating the main dangers. The selection finished in mid-division on his only start to date in a much better race behind the dead-heaters Il Duce and Bengo. This represents a massive drop in class and he is sure to have come on for the experience so in a poor affair he is taken to score. No Further Comment rates the main danger as he was a fair second behind Special Conquest last time out, but that was in a chase. That form has since been let down and he may not have enough pace on his return to hurdles and at the likely odds he looks worth taking on. Combat Drinker is another with definite place claims on his latest third behind Muckle Flugga but he is more exposed than most and may be vulnerable to a less-exposed type. Of the remainder Presenting Alf is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Monty's Salvo.
