Brooklyn Brownie looks the one to be with here and he is taken to get the better of Common Girl and Shining Strand. The selection won easily at Bangor in a similar race to this last time and he looks to have an outstanding opportunity here to get his head in front again. That latest win came after a long break so he is sure to come on for the run and with no trip or ground worries he is difficult to oppose. Common Girl is in great form and this mare is chasing the hat-trick today. However, she made heavy weather of winning at Fakenham last time when she had the race run to suit and in this more competitive affair she looks worth taking on. Shining Strand is from a top yard and is unexposed so he is certainly one to note in the market. However, he may be seen to better effect in handicap company and he is best watched today unless the market speaks in his favour. Fencote is not the most consistent but he is capable of going well at a decent price and he looks a suitable option for each-way players. However, for the winner we are happy to return to Brooklyn Brownie.
