In depth
Verdict
A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events the market will prove all important but the principals look to be Buttres, Bishop¿s Bridge and Profowens and the vote goes to Buttress, The selection was a fair second behind The Weaver last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Bishop¿s Bridge rates the main danger on his second behind Toemac at Kempton but that was on good grounds and he is not sure to be suited by this slower surface. Profowens ran well on his debut but then disappointed at Haydock last time however, this softer ground will suit. Stoneyford Ben has shown enough in two similar races to suggest he can will not be far away. Of the newcomers Reble Rhythm and Ice rain are from yards that can ready a debutante but for the winner we return to Buttress.
