    Verdict

A wide open handicap hurdle her and many would have chances on their best form however the main protagonists look to be Nowell House, Maceo and Welsh Main and the tentative vote goes to Nowell House. The selection remains well weighted on his best form of a couple of seasons ago. He won well last time out when defeating Colorado Falls and although he has risen in the weights he is taken to win again with conditions to suit. Maceo rates the main danger on his latest win over Jallastep at Ayr but he is not the most consistent of performers so can not be backed with any confidence. Welsh Main is also worthy of respect on his latest second behind Master Papa. That form has since been franked and he has definite place claims. Mr Lear has won his last two races in good style he defeated Untidy Daughter in good style last time but this looks much more competitive. Of the remainder top weight Bernardon has dropped to a handy mark and could go well but for the winner we return to Nowell House.
