Sweet Auburn gets the vote here with On the Luce and Young Claude put forward as the chief dangers. The selection was making his debut over fences when fourth behind Red Society at Sedgefield last time. He is sure to come on for that run and with Tony Dobbin in the plate he looks the one to beat. On The Luce is respected as a big danger as he was a decent fourth behind Lochieduce at Newcastle last time in a better race than this. He will be suited by the step up in trip and with conditions to suit and will not be far away at the finish. Young Claude is a half brother to Young Kenny but has not lived up to expectations so far, and as he was pulled-up last time he looks opposable. The remainder will have to improve to trouble our selection Sweet Auburn
