Verdict

Catamaran Du Seuil ended last season with a course and distance success and is 5lb higher on his return. Lofgren struggled in a higher grade at Kelso last time having scored at Bangor before that while Western Miller still looks high enough in the weights. CRACKING FIND (NAP) was runner-up here before returning to the track with a creditable third in a Listed chase over today’s distance. He should be bang there at the finish and gets the nod given Sue Smith has won two of the previous three renewals. Pain Au Chocolat is preferred to Bordeaux Bill of the remainder.
