        Verdict

        A low-key start to proceedings but it’s a better race than the one won by Ainne at Kempton and she carries a penalty. SOARING SPIRITS is only 2lb higher than when successful over course and distance in June and has won off a much higher mark on Turf since. Nicola Currie’s mount is back over his best trip today. Lord Murphy is having a rare run on Polytrack but handles the surface and has been knocking on the door on Tapeta lately. Molten Lava won at Chelmsford last month but that was a very modest contest and he’s 6lb higher now.
