    Verdict

Just the four runners to choose from here but still not an easy contest to solve with all of the quartet having some sort of chance. Sue Smith's Gottabe, a winner here over the extended 2m4f and subsequently at over further at Worcester, is probably the form choice but, having been raised a further 8lbs since his most recent success, the son of Gunner B may now be in the handicapper's grip. Master Of Illusion ran as well as can have been expected on his recent reappearance at Newton Abbot and should again be thereabouts, while Lord Sandrovitch ran over an inadequate trip here last time and should do better over this distance. The TEAMtalk selection though has to be Cedar Green. The topweight has yet to race previously this term but Kim Bailey's horses are in fantastic form at present so fitness should not be a problem. Well enough treated on the pick of his form and with ground conditions to suit he looks the one to be on.
