In depth

Verdict

Luzcadou would win this easily on his best form but he was slightly disappointing last season, and the Ferdy Murphy yard has yet to hit top form so a chance is taken on The Grey Dyer who goes well fresh, will like the ground and is from a stable in fine form. He looks fairly handicapped on his second behind Kerry Lads last time and will be hard to beat. Cuthill Hope is also worthy of consideration. He won well at Kelso last time when defeating Ardent Scout and, although he has plenty to do off his new mark, he won with plenty in hand last time out. Kung Hei Fat Choi would have a chance on his best form but he has been let down by his jumping at vital stages in his last couple of races. Castle Clear looks out of his depth.
