Arc El Ciel has shown a return to form since being switched to this surface, however his two good recent runs have come over six furlongs and this step back up in trip is not necessarily in his favour. Like most horses, Answered Promise improved remarkably for a run on this surface when finishing second (disqualified) over this course and distance last time and has to be respected here. Adobe has been struggling of late but it would be no surprise to see him bounce back to form here, however the TEAMtalk vote goes to On Guard. The four-year-old is a regular visitor to the all-weather tracks and although he can prove difficult to win with, heads to Wolverhampton on top of his game. He has found only one too good on his last two starts (both at Dunstall Park) and goes particularly well over this course and distance.
