      Verdict

D'Accord is a model of consistency and returns to the all-weather on a very decent mark, however while he rarely runs a bad race he has also not won a race since 1999 and is becoming increasingly frustrating to follow. Beverley Macca also goes well on this surface and after an return to form success on the turf last time, she should go well in an open contest. However, the TEAMtalk vote goes to Hagley Park, who is trained on track at Dunstall Park. She has great early speed and has been doing particularly well in lesser company, so is worth a chance back in this grade. Cark is weighted to go very close but is another who finding it difficult to get his head in front and backers must be losing patience. Our Chelsea Blue is another consistent type who does act on this surface and is therefore another who could well be in the shake-up.
