Funny Times is on the comeback trail and may be fit enough to overcome Lord Rosskit, Red Scally and Chateau Rouge to name but three. Funny Times looked like one to follow when landing back-to-back bumpers at Newcastle and Sandown last year, and she did nothing to dispel that theory when fifth to Senorita Rumbelita at Aintree in April. However, she failed to impress when sent over hurdles, despite having bags of potential, and was put away to strengthen up. By all accounts she has done nothing but please in schooling, and hopefully will put matters right before going on to better things. Lord Rosskit has plenty of experience but looks as though even today's trip is on the short side, while Red Scally needed to be dropped back in trip to score at Bangor where he did not beat much. Chateau Rouge has some scope but will benefit from the run, as will Devil's Disguise, and with class in abundance, it is Funny Times that is the pick.
