In the opener, Tybalt is selected ahead of Elhareer and Dance Spiel. Beaten a short head on his Newmarket debut, Tybalt rates as an obvious player today, particularly given that he should be ok on the Polytrack. Elhareer got the hang of things late on at Kempton and showed enough promise to be given solid enough claims today. Benchmark has not built on very good early promise, which has been disappointing, and Dance Spiel is of obvious interest based on breeding and purchase price. History Man has shown enough promise to be given some thought, while, being a 105,000 guineas daughter of Singspiel, Folk Opera could be interesting on her debut. Niqaab cost 110,000 guineas but she will need to step up on her debut effort, which is of course possible, and Queen Noverre's overall form tells us that she should be given some thought today. Overall, though, the vote goes to Tybalt.
