Verdict

Mon Villez will love the going and can get the better of Le Passing and Salhood in this Grade 2 contest. The Nicky Henderson-trained French import was disappointing at Newbury last time after looking an exciting prospect when scoring at Uttoxeter the time before. We are prepared to forgive him that aberration and he can score here. Le Passing was probably beaten by a very good animal at Ascot last time but should go well here, while Salhood is progressing nicely but has something to find with the selection if using Bold Bishop as a reliable benchmark. These three are the principals here, of which we like Mon Villez.
