A tough opener where WOODLARK ISLAND will be a warm order if turning up with Mister Fizzbomb and Sharadiyn as the alternatives. The selection is set to run on Bank Holiday Monday but if he turns up at Wetherby, he will still be infront of the assessor and has the benefit of Hadden Frost being able to claim 3lb off as he is riding for his own stable. Mister Fizzbomb is modest though should appreciate the going. He is far better than his poor show on the flat at Southwell suggests. Sharadiyn has shown piece of form for new connections since leaving Mick Easterby. The drop in trip does not seem ideal. Gross Prophet was a fair sort over 1m2f on the flat though has struggled to make an impact at this level. Troodos Jet has been performing well against low grade opposition over chase fences. Transporter has dropped down the weights but not without good reason. Naughty Diesel is off a handy enough weight while Ballysimon might just have preferred the rain to have stayed away. A book that revolves around whether Woodlark Island shows up - if he does, expect him to be priced prohibitively.
