In depth

Verdict

MALAKIYA is the form pick to land this seller, while both Super Ross and Moon Melody are more than capable on their day so are worth noting. The selection spat the dummy at Stratford when sent back over fences last time out. Prior to that he won in this grade at Ludlow and if he can recapture that form he will not be too far away. Super Ross has to give weight all round after winning at Ludlow in the winter and at this venue over two furlongs shorter last time out. He is sure to run well once again but whether he is good enough to give Malakiya seven pounds will remain to be seen. Moon Melody has been in great form of late finishing second over course and distance before chasing home Mystified at Cartmel last time out. He is not the easiest horse to win with but if running up to his best he is sure to be in the shake up once again, however, for the winner we return to Malakiya.
