In depth

Verdict

LORD LANSDOWN is given the vote to follow up from his recent Perth success, while both Catch The Stars and Winsley Hill warrant respect. The selection travels from his native Ireland and now has a penalty to carry after his most recent win. He is still only lightly raced but jumped well on his chase debut at Perth and with further improvement still to come he is difficult to oppose. Catch The Stars is another that is only lightly raced but he has been a little frustrating to follow. He ran in what looked like a poor chase at Towcester last week and failed to spark when sent off favourite. That run was too bad to be true and he will need to put that behind him in order to be a threat to the selection. Winsley Hill comes into the race off the back of a win at Exeter so she has a penalty to carry but is clearly in good spirits at present so has to warrant respect. This is a race that will not take much winning and Lord Lansdown looks the class act in the race.
