        Verdict

        Secret Assassin can finally get his head in front this afternoon at the expense of The Bard Song and Sharp Duo. Willie Muir's colt doesn't know hoe to run a bad race and earned a rating of 73 when finishing a close up third behind Zambach at Lingfield. The others may have more scope for improvement but that is quite solid form in the context of this event and he looks to have strong claims. The Bard Song disappointed last time at Leicester but has a chance on his previous run when fourth behind Psychic Star at Folkestone. Sharp Duo ran his best race over course and distance so may prove best of the others. This is a pretty modest contest and the most exposed runner in the field, Secret Assassin, could be the one to take first prize.
